They won’t be little forever….
Weddings are my main jam, but I LOVE photographing families and kids and squeeze in as many family portrait sessions I can.
Family portraits record our family history and more importantly help us remember what our little ones were like when our tired parent brains can’t!
When I lived in Sydney, I spent four years photographing preschoolers and babies. And I’m pretty darn good at it! I worked hard to learn all of the tricks to make kids feel comfortable in front of my camera and now it’s one of my superpowers. I love it when the cheesy smiles disappear and their little personalities shine. It makes the images so much more real and precious.
My style is natural, candid and bright and I love photographing using natural light. We can do the session anywhere you'd like. I am based in Orange, NSW and some of my faves spots are Borrodell vineyard, Mount Canobolas, Lake Canobolas, Ophir Reserve, the Botanic Gardens in the vineyards anywhere really and at your place! Newborn sessions are normally done in your home using your favourite things - blankets, toys, wraps etc. Or if you are feeling brave we can do the session outside!
I do travel in the central West for family and newborn portrait photography sessions too. Let me know where you are based and I can give you more information.
Light-wise - the ‘golden hour’ is just after sunrise and sunset when the light is soft and beautiful. Normally lifestyle sessions are done in the hour after sunrise or before sunset. The images in this gallery have all been taken at those times. Newborn sessions indoors can be done ideally mid-morning or mid-afternoon.
I've got some gorgeous family heirloom artwork options - prints, fine art paper framed by hand, albums, real cotton canvas artworks and metallic and glass artworks designed to last 100 years or more too.
