Banksia Wedding - Sarah & Dom

Some weddings just hit different — and Sarah and Dom’s day at Banksia was one of those “stop everything and soak it in” kind of moments. Equal parts heartfelt, stylish, and wildly fun, this wedding was less “just another ceremony” and more epic party with vows attached — and honestly, I was here for every second of it.

If you don’t already know, Sarah and Dom are the powerhouse duo behind Banksia and Union Bank, two iconic local spots that know how to bring people together in style. So when two event-savvy legends plan their own wedding at Banksia wedding venue in Orange, NSW, you know it’s going to be next level. Think: luxe-meets-laid-back with a huge dose of personality and polish.

As a wedding photographer in Orange, I’ve seen some incredible weddings — and this one had it all. The styling was flawless: a dreamy mix of rich burgundy and soft silver florals by the absolute magicians at @botanicalartclub, layered with flowing fabric installations and warm, moody lighting by @cctproductions. Every detail felt intentional, from the handpicked furniture by @bespokecountryweddings to the way the venue seamlessly transformed from lawn lounge to all-out dancefloor rave.

Food and drinks? Ridiculous (in the best way). A caviar and seafood bar kicked things off in style, cocktails flowed like nobody’s business, and espresso martinis kept the late-night energy high. Banksia’s catering team absolutely nailed it — as always.

The ceremony was soulful and sincere, soundtracked beautifully by @luethajakmusic, and later flipped into full party mode with DJ sets by @mes.ent that had the place absolutely pumping.

But beyond the impeccable styling and knockout party energy, what made this day unforgettable was the vibe. So much love, laughter, and pure joy packed into every moment. Sarah and Dom didn’t just throw a wedding — they created an experience. One that felt completely, unapologetically them.
