Hi, I'm Kirsten, a documentary style wedding photographer based in the Central West, NSW.
I live in Orange and photograph weddings in Mudgee, Orange, Bathurst, Blue Mountains and beyond. Mudgee has some of the best wedding vendors in the biz, and I feel so so lucky I get to photograph weddings there so close to home.
Every package includes an engagement shoot so we can get to know each other. Making you feel comfortable in front of the camera is super important to me. I want you to be you on your wedding day - looking and feeling like a million bucks.
I'm all about making fun, adventurous and candid images without the cheesy posey posey stuff. The more relaxed you are and the more we trust each other, the better the images that we make together will be.
When you see your images, I want you to feel breathless. The first time you look at them and more importantly in 20 years when your wedding photos are well and truly part of your family's visual history. I want you to relive everything you felt on your wedding day and smile so hard that your face hurts.
Wedding photography for me is so much more than nailing one photo to put on your wall or make your profile pic. It's about storytelling and capturing the feeling and honesty of your day. If that sounds good to you, let me know. I'd love to hear what your love story is about.
Sarah and Justice traveled for 55 hours from Kansas to elope in the Blue Mountains. Their flight was cancelled, so they hired a car and drove 8 hours to sleep for 4 hours and catch a whole bunch more flights to Australia. They finally arrived in Katoomba a day later than planned and only an hour before we met to start shooting. But it was totally worth the travel pain!
With a custom made bridal gown to die for, two free range pooches and vineyards as their backdrop, Preeti and Andrew partied the night away with their nearest and dearest at Racine la Colline.
Loretta and Ben's sneak peeks are here! What a way to start the wedding season - an A-Team of vendors, divine details, loads of fun, a free range pooch and Loretta and Ben's impeccable style and sense of humour made their wedding day one of the best! Still pinching myself I got to be part of it. Congratulations you legends. Can't wait to edit the rest and show them to you!!!!
Oh my. A hilltop ceremony, vintage rustic reception, windy paddocks and antique lace featured in Tilly and George's oh so personal and whimsical wedding at Hargraves, NSW.
Jess and Alek’s sneak peeks are here! Blue skies and wheat fields for days, a bridal party dressed all in black, a divinely decorated venue and gorgeous details with Boxgrove as the venue to top it all off.
Another exceptional vineyard wedding at Racine la Colline. Not even wind and rain stopped the show on Julie and Andy’s amazing day.
Linda and Rob live in Sydney but spend as much time as they can on their farm near Hill End, NSW. Linda’s mum sadly passed before the wedding, but Linda made sure her favourite animal - frogs - were scattered throughout the ceremony and reception reminding us all that she was definitely part of her day. And there was no greater feeling that she was with us when we reached our sunset location and the grey overcast sky opened up revealing a spectacular sunset.
Orange seriously has some of the best vendors in the biz. We all work together and I believe it makes us better at what we do collectively. We also have loads of fun!! Here is a styled shoot a few talented vendors and I put together for an intimate elopement 20 minutes outside of Orange, NSW. Yep - it was raining, but it was totally worth it!
Anne and Brock wanted the sacredness of their vows to be the most important part of their day. With only six people present, including the priest and myself, their wedding was one of the most touching and intimate ceremonies I’ve ever experienced.
How to make sure your wedding day schedule is timed perfectly with the best light….
