I've been photographing families across Orange, Dubbo, Mudgee, Bathurst and Blue Mountains for nearly 15 years. Newborns who sleep through everything. Toddlers who won't sit still for a second. Outdoors in natural light, at your home, or on location — wherever feels most like you. I shoot portrait sessions across Orange, Dubbo, Mudgee, Bathurst and Blue Mountains NSW. Have a location in mind? Let's make it work.

Most family portrait sessions run for an hour. Newborn sessions are generally slower and more relaxed — we go at the baby's pace, not a clock. Couples and personal branding sessions are usually around an hour. maternity sessions are usually shorter.

Golden hour — the hour after sunrise or the hour before sunset — gives the most beautiful, flattering light. I'll always recommend timing your session around the light for the best results. Indoor sessions can be done anytime of the day.

Yes. I don't have a permanent studio space but I can set up studio backdrops and lighting on location — at your home, your workplace or another suitable space. Sometimes I use my home for more personal sessions like maternity. This works really well for headshots and personal branding sessions where a clean, professional background is needed. Just mention it when you enquire and we'll sort out the perfect setup for your shoot.

Relaxed, comfortable clothes that feel like you. Generally dress up in instead of dressing down. Avoid very bright patterns or logos — they distract from faces. Coordinate rather than match — similar tones rather than identical outfits always looks more natural. Still not sure? Just ask and I'll help.

This is genuinely one of my superpowers. Nearly 15 years of preschool photography plus two boys of my own means I know exactly how to work with little ones — at their pace, on their terms, with plenty of silliness along the way. Tantrums, meltdowns and general chaos are all part of the process and I've got it handled.

We reschedule — simple as that. I'd rather wait for beautiful light than push through bad weather and end up with images neither of us loves. I'll always keep an eye on the forecast and give you plenty of notice. Please note though it may be a few weeks before we can reschedule.

Your edited gallery will be ready within 2 weeks of your session. You'll receive a link to your private online gallery where you can download everything in high resolution — ready to print, share and treasure.

Yes — you can order prints, canvases and gifts directly from your online gallery through the print store. Fine Art Albums are also available — beautifully handcrafted and built to last generations. Just ask for details.

Absolutely — couples portraits, anniversary shoots, engagement sessions, maternity, newborn and personal branding sessions are all available. If you need photos that actually look like you, I'd love to help.
