Italian Inspired Burnbrae Vineyard Wedding in Mudgee
Karina and Cameron’s glorious late summer soiree at Burnbrae Wines in Mudgee had a modern ceremony, Italian inspired menu and beautiful touches throughout the day including hand written notes on photographs of all their guests.
Karina and Cameron met working together at an optometry store while they were both studying the same degree at university. Karina says they had been working together for about a year before they started dating while she made the first move and kissed Cam on a night out, but she says Cam likes to think he made the first move! Either way, they liked each other alot have been inseparable ever since. They are both very outdoorsy and love exercising, travelling and adventuring. It t was on a weekend away staying in a tiny house near Oberon in the middle of nowhere that Cam asked her to marry him. They had just gone for a bush walk and were having a cup of tea outside when Cam got down on one knee and proposed - Karina said yes and the rest is history!
They started planning their wedding and fell in love with the Mudgee wine region. The rustic Burnbrae Wines cellar door in Mudgee provided the picturesque backdrop for their truly breathtaking Italian-inspired wedding. Set amidst the stunning vines and next to the river, the garden ceremony featured a colourful floral arbour made by Mudgee Monkey florals, exuding an air of modern elegance - and fun!
Karina wore a custom dress made by Leanne Hamilton Couture and their red, pink and white floral styling created a real sense of romance.
The celebration continued with an outdoor reception, featuring a mouthwatering array of Italian inspired entrees. Dinner was an authentic wood-fired pizza experience on long tables beautifully illuminated by fairy lights under the clear, starry skies. As the night progressed, the dance floor beckoned, twinkling with fairy lights and mirroring the shimmering stars above. With the beautiful light casting a warm ambiance, this celebration became a lovefest, where lasting memories were made under the captivating Mudgee skies.
